Women in Mining Kazakhstan had the honour of been invited to participate in the discussion organised by the National Commission for Women and Family Affairs under the President of Kazakhstan on the List of Prohibited Professions for Women. We had the opportunity to voice our proposal to abolish or reduce the list, as recommended by the United Nations and the International Labour Organization, thus giving women the right to choose.

Thank you for inviting us and for raising such important issues.
